FSE Offshore - Low Voltage is a FSE course targeting personell working offshore with low voltage installations. The course focuses on FSE offshore and meets the requirements set in § 7 of the "Safety Regulations for Work and Operation of Electrical Equipment and Installations- FSE", that relevant personnel shall be given annual training in FSE. The course also provides training and instruction in first aid, except for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Throughout the course the focus is on attitudes and the individual's responsibility to follow the regulations. FSE training is about knowledge of regulations and instructions, but it is equally important for the individual to understand why we have these regulations. To succeed in getting the individual to understand the importance of working safely, it is crucial that electrical safety is developing in the right direction and that the number of accidents is reduced.

In order to meet the requirement for being able to provide first aid in the event of electrical accidents, you also need to complete yearly practical training in CPR (mouth-to-mouth and heart compressions).

This course does not have the fast track function with pretest. The fast track version is to be found in the course catalogue with the code MTP-043-FT.

Risk has always been an important part of our lives. People have always tried to get an overview of what risks are linked to different activities. Nowadays, risk management is a core concept in many different contexts – for example, we talk about a business risk or a risk of injury or loss of life.

In this course, the main focus is on what we usually call risk-based HSE management, but the course also throws light on principles and methods which can be used generally for risk management in business.

After the course you should:
- Know about and be able to orient yourself in the relevant regulations with emphasis on the public health department's supervisor “Nok, godt og sikkert drikkevann offshore"
