Dette drikkevannskurset ble lansert i 2014, utarbeidet av laboratorieselskapet Kystlab AS som vi het da. Etter fusjoner og endringer på eiersiden heter vi nå Nemko Norlab AS og er en del av Nemko Group, men fortsatt landets største norskeide laboratorieselskap. “Rent vann offshore” har alltid vært tuftet på laboratorieselskapet sin mangeårige erfaring med laboratorieanalyser av drikkevann, inkl offshore. Etter sammenslåingen ble det faglige grunnlaget i selskapet ytterligere styrket og porteføljen utvidet med enda flere tjenester til offshore-bransjen. Til sammen utfører selskapet over 100.000 analyser av drikkevann hvert år.

NYTT I VERSJON 5.0

- På samme måte som Covid-19-viruset får den dødelige dusj-bakterien Legionella stadig økt fokus offshore pga fare for smitteutbrudd. Kurset er derfor ytterligere utvidet ift Legionella.

- Kurset er nå også oppdatert ift nye anbefalinger på årlig prøvetaking. Endringer som bl.a. kan gi lavere analyse-kostnader.

- Denne versjonen er i tillegg oppdatert ihht siste gjeldende regelverk, blant annet med viktig endring ift ansvarlig myndighet for kontroll av drikkevann offshore.

This course aims to provide learners of an awareness of US best practice in relation to confined space entry (CSE), hazardous atmospheres, and the necessary equipment, and permits required to work in confined spaces.

It will also examine the hazards and hazard control methods that are required to undertake work safely in a confined space and the actions that should be taken in an emergency.

KURSBESKRIVELSE

I en risikovurdering kartlegges hendelser som kan inntre og hva disse hendelsene kan føre til. I dette kurset har vi fokus på uønskede hendelser. Dette kan for eksempel være gasslekkasje eller en brannpå en oljeplattform,  at utstyr slutter å virke under en operasjon på et sykehus eller at det skjer en ulykke i  gjennomføringen av en arbeidsoppgave.Risikoanalyseprosessen består av tre faser: 

1) Planlegging

2) Risikovurdering

3) Risikohåndtering

Dette kurset viser hvordan disse fasene kan planlegges og gjennomføres i praksis. Det finnes mange veiledninger og standarder for hvordan en risikovurdering kan gjennomføres, og mange er tilpasset spesifikke bransjer og fagområder. Dettekurset presenterer en generell tilnærming som kan anvendes i de fleste bransjer.

Det finnes en rekke ulike risikoanalysemetoder som er egnet til å se på ulike problemstillinger.Det gis en introduksjon til noen av disse; Hazid/grovanalyse, SJA, HAZOP, FMEA og QRA. Kunsten er å velge en metode som er godt tilpasset problemstillingen du ser på.

Kurset gir en introduksjon i forståelsen av gass i utsatte arbeidssituasjoner. Det beskriver reelle farer og forteller om de mest vanlige gassene. Kurset gir kunnskap om hvordan man kan best beskytte seg selv og andre ved bruk av riktig utstyr, og gir forståelse og kunnskap rundt faremomenter ved arbeid i gassutsatte områder.
