Vi gransker og undersøker for å lære, iverksette forebyggende tiltak og forhindre gjentakelse av uønskede hendelser. Å granske en hendelse er som å skrelle en løk. Vi starter med de direkte årsakene som er de mest synlige. For å komme til bunns i hendelsene må vi avdekke "lag på lag" hvilke andre årsaker som ligger bak. Den teknologiske utviklingen, og ikke minst nye organisasjonsformer, fører til at kompleksiteten øker og det blir vanskeligere å forstå sammenhengen mellom hendelsen og de bakenforliggende årsakene til hendelsen. Dette kurset presenterer metode, organisering og prosess for gjennomføring av granskinger. Kurset kan også tilbys i kombinasjon med dagssamling.

Who is the course for?

This eLearning course is aimed at individuals who work offshore, in any role, anywhere in the world.

Is previous experience required?

The course is designed for existing workers in the oil and gas industry. Completion of this course awards an IMIST certificate valid for four years, after which you will need to sit the course again to refresh your knowledge and earn a new certificate.

How will the course benefit me?

The offshore working environment is home to many hazards, which means that it is vital for everyone who goes offshore to have the same baseline level of safety knowledge. This course has been created with OPITO to set a global safety standard by applying a consistent level of safety awareness across nine safety critical areas and is applicable .

The knowledge gained in this course will help you to stay safe in your day-to-day activities offshore. It will also outline some of the systems and procedures in place to manage everyday operations offshore.

Once you have completed the course, you will be asked a series of questions to check your knowledge and understanding. These are based on the learning objectives for the course and have a pass mark of 100%. 

The course starts with an optional pre-assessment that checks your existing knowledge of the course topics. The course will restructure so that it only contains the content needed to address the gaps in your knowledge.

This training course aims at providing a general description of the requirements for the prevention of pollution by sewage from ships as defined by the Annex IV of the MARPOL Convention.

Objectives

A Certificate of MARPOL Sewage Pollution, issued by Bureau Veritas Solutions Marine & Offshore.

The Certificate of MARPOL Sewage Pollution is obtained after completion of the course and passing the online test.

Gjennomgang av alle sider i modulen ESS Basis, herunder bl.a. personlige data, kompetanse, aktivitetsoversikt og aktivitetsforespørsler. 

Kurset tilfredsstiller, sammen med en praktisk øvelse, forskriftskrav om dokumentert sikkerhtsopplæring av de aktuelle verktøyene. 

Kurset gir kunnskaper om oppbygging, betjening, bruksegenskaper og bruksområde, samt vedlikehold og kontroll av de aktuelle vertkøyene. Opplæringen gir kunnskaper om de krav som stilles til sikker bruk og betjening i forskrifter og i bruksanvisning.

Kurset er delt opp i en innledning og egen kursdel per verktøy. Gjennomføringen kan deles opp. Ta gjerne 1-2 verktøy om gangen med en pause i mellom.

Hensikten med opplæringen er å gi blivende riggere en god praktisk grunnopplæring i sikker bruk av riggerutstyr. Opplæringen skal gi elevene god innsikt i prinsippene for riggutstyrets konstruksjon, virkemåte, bruk og vedlikehold, slik at uhell og ulykker i forbindelse med riggoperasjoner unngås. Riggoperasjon: Bruk og sammenstilling av transportabelt løfteutstyr og/ eller manuelle/ kraftdrevne vinsjer, taljer etc. som benyttes ved horisontal og/ eller vertikal forflytning av last. Opplæringen dekker den nødvendige teoretiske og praktiske opplæringen som er nødvendig for å kunne gjennomføre selvstendige riggoperasjoner. Opplæringen avsluttes med en praktisk prøve.

Modul O-2.2: Fallsikring - Søylesvingkran / enkel traverskran - Taljer / vinsjer. (16 timer opplæring).

Modul O-3.2: Rigging (32 timer opplæring) Beviset kan utstyres med opplæringsbedriftens/virksomhetens logo.

Dette drikkevannskurset ble lansert i 2014, utarbeidet av laboratorieselskapet Kystlab AS som vi het da. Etter fusjoner og endringer på eiersiden heter vi nå Nemko Norlab AS og er en del av Nemko Group, men fortsatt landets største norskeide laboratorieselskap. “Rent vann offshore” har alltid vært tuftet på laboratorieselskapet sin mangeårige erfaring med laboratorieanalyser av drikkevann, inkl offshore. Etter sammenslåingen ble det faglige grunnlaget i selskapet ytterligere styrket og porteføljen utvidet med enda flere tjenester til offshore-bransjen. Til sammen utfører selskapet over 100.000 analyser av drikkevann hvert år.

NYTT I VERSJON 5.0

- På samme måte som Covid-19-viruset får den dødelige dusj-bakterien Legionella stadig økt fokus offshore pga fare for smitteutbrudd. Kurset er derfor ytterligere utvidet ift Legionella.

- Kurset er nå også oppdatert ift nye anbefalinger på årlig prøvetaking. Endringer som bl.a. kan gi lavere analyse-kostnader.
