COURSE DESCRIPTION

In a risk assessment,  potential events and consequences are considered. In this course, we focus on unwanted events such as failures and accidents. This could be, for example, a gas leak or afire at an oil platform, that equipment stops working during an operation in a hospital, or that an accident occurs during the execution of a work task. The risk analysis process consists of three phases:

1) Planning

2) Risk assessment

3) Risk management

This course shows how these phases can be planned and implemented in practice. There are many guidelines and standards on how a risk assessmentcan be carried out, and many are adapted to particular industries and professional areas. This course presents a general approach that can be used in most industries.

•Introduction:What is risk? What is the purpose of a risk assessments?

•Risk assessment and risk management:Description of the steps in a risk assessment, what is important to look out for in the various steps, and how the risk assessment can be applied in risk management.

•Risk analysis methods:There are numerous risk assessment methods that are suitable for looking at different issues. An introduction is given to some of these; Hazid/ course risk analysis, SJA, HAZOP, FMEA and QRA. It’s crucial to choose a method that is well adapted to the problem you are looking at.

Dette kurset er bygget på krav i Forskrift om utførelse av arbeid, kapittel 17, som omhandler montering, demontering og endring av stillas.
Forskriften krever opplæring for ulike stillashøyder:
-2-5 meter: 7,5 timer teori og 7,5 timer praksis
-5-9 meter: 15 timer teori og 15 timer praksis
-Over 9 meter: 36 timer teori og 72 timer praksis.

Dette kurset forutsetter at du har gjennomført stillaskurs del1. Til sammen dekker disse kursene kravene til teoretisk opplæring for stillas over til 9 meter, og tilsvarer kravene i Forskrift om utførelse av arbeid § 17-2 -17-4 om teoretisk opplæring.
I tillegg er det krav om 72 timer praktisk opplæring under tilsyn av kvalifisert person, ref Forskrift om utførelse av arbeid § 17-2 - 17-4.

Requirements for training related to scaffolding are regulated by law and regulations. This course is based on the requirements of Regulations concerning the Performance of Work, Chapter 17, which is about assembly, dismantling and alteration of scaffolding.

-2-5 meters: 7.5 hours theory and  7.5 hours practical training
-5-9 meters: 15 hours theory and 15 hours practical training
-Over 9 meters: 36 hours theory and 72 hours practical training

This course covers the requirements of theoretical training for scaffolding up to 9 meters, and corresponds to the requirements of the Regulations concerning the Performance of Work, Section 17-2 and 17-3, on theoretical training.
