Kurset er i henhold til NS-EN 1591-4 og gjennomgår samme kursinnhold som ordinært fire dagers kurs men uten bruk av hydrauliske vri og strekkeverktøy.

Bruk av mekanisk momentnøkkel er hovedfokus men også gjennomgang av prosedyrer, flenser, pakninger, praktiske oppgaver med mer.

Kurset avsluttes med teoretisk og praktisk eksamen.

Ved bestått er godkjenningen gyldig i 5 år.

Kurs gjennomføres i Stavanger eller Bergen og settes opp etter forespørsel.

LEARNING PROCESS

The training will be a combination of theoretical lessons and practical exercises. During the course each participant will have his own operator station with generic DP software.

SPECIAL INFORMATION

The DP Induction course is the first phase of the Nautical Institute (NI) DP Operator Certification Scheme. The course participants will be issued with the NI Dynamic Positioning Operator’s Log Book upon successful completion of the DP Induction Course.

This course is according to the system specific competence requirements in IMO STCW Regulations I/14 1.5, Part A-I/14 2.1.1, part B V/f 6 and IMCA M117.

CERTIFICATE

A certificate accreditated by the Nautical Institute will be issued on succcessful completion of the course.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

The period of supervised DP sea time days after the Simulator Course may be reduced by a maximum of 30 days by the satisfactory completion of an intensive DP Simulator Course.

CONTENT

• Study of DP incidents
• Construction and use of worksite diagrams, Electronic Charts and Vessel templates for use in DP operations
• Preparation of plans for a projected DP operation,contingency plans for expected deviations and emergencies
• Participation in simulated situations in a variety of DP operations while handling routine and emergency situations
• Risk and safety analysis, and defining DP equipmentclasses
• The DP system’s utilization of position

LEARNING PROCESS

The participants will work with practical scenarios based on real operations, training on planning and executing specified operations under varying simulated conditions.

During the operations, typical DP failure modes will be included. Communication with field control, other vessels and the different departments onboard will be included. A rotation plan will be made for participants to act in different roles during the course.

The scenarios will be run on a K-POS DP system Class2, in a full mission simulator environment connected to an advanced simulator control (NI Class A).

SPECIAL INFORMATION

The Sea Time Reduction Course reduces phase D of the Nautical Institute (NI) DP Operator Certification Scheme (watchkeeping experience). The course will be logged into the Nautical Institute DP Operator’s log book and reduce the Watchkeeping Experience requirements by 30 days

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of the course the participants should:

• Have acquired knowledge of the latest rules and regulations
• Have acquired knowledge of the latest developments within sensors and Position Reference Systems (PRS)

• Be able to recognize the various alarm, warning and information messages

• Decide on courses of action because of system failure

CONTENT

The course is conducted as classroom training, combining theoretical presentation (Show-and Tell Lessons) and practical work/discussion with exercises in simulator and guidance (Stair-Step learning design). For practical capabilities and skills, exercises are performed in full equipped DP simulator. This course will fulfil the revalidation learning objectives as specified by Nautical institute.

SPECIAL INFORMATION

At present (2016), the requiremets is that the holder of a Nautical Institute (NI) DPO certificate must revalidate their DPO certificates.

The requirement is that the DPO must have at least 150 days of DP sea time experience in the previous 5 years, if not NI DPO Revalidation course is needed.

A certificate acceditated by the Nautical Institute will be issued on succcessful completion of the course.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

This course is specifically designed for training future DPO’s on board a large number of offshore vessels.

The course aim to provide the candidates with knowledge and skills as preparation for DNV DPO Advanced Operations exams and certification.

By the end of course the students shall have:

• Acquired a thorough knowledge of the various types of DP operations such as ROV operations, cable laying pipe laying, trenching, dredging and rock-dumping
• The capability to operate the DP in the various modes associated with such operations, i.e. joystick,  auto pos mode, autotrack mode and follow target mode
• Recognize when environmental conditions or system failure  requires DPO to take action to avoid hazardous situations
• The  ability to carry out such operations according to existing operational guidelines and checklists
• The ability  to demonstrate good personal attitudes towards safety in operating DP vessels according to best practice in the industry

CONTENT

Planning,  briefing and de-briefing of various field exercises according to the existing guidelines, regulations, and industry standards. Repetition of necessary DP theory to close any knowledge gap the students may have in these subjects.

LEARNING PROCESS

All DP  exercises will be carried out on a full scale DNV GL Approved DP Class A simulator, using vessels that are equipped according to DP class 2 and 3. The participants will perform both surface and subsea  operations, utilizing the following DP modes: Joystick, Autoposition, Autotrack and Follow target functionalities.

Hensikt: Grunnleggende overlevelsestrening for offshore vindindustri. 

Ved gjennomføring av Global Wind Organization (GWO) Basic Safety Training (BST) vil delegatene ha en bevissthet om farene som oppstår når de arbeider i vind-industrien og hvordan man kontrollerer og reduserer disse farene.

Kursdeltakerne vil få (repetert) kunnskap og ferdigheter til å anerkjenne fordeler og begrensninger knyttet til livreddende utstyr og PVU samt korrekt bruk av dette i forbindelse med offshore vind. 

Hensikten med kurset er å gi deltakerne kunnskaper/oppfriskning om livreddende utstyr, GMDSS og SAR utstyr, hvordan en kollektivt kan øke sjansen til overlevelse i en nødsituasjon, hvordan entre og forlate vindturbiner, samt evakuering i nødsituasjoner. 

Kurset dekker krav til opplæring av personell og repetisjonskurs både land- og havvind iht:

- Global Wind Organization (GWO)

- Arbeidstilsynet (Forskrifter)


Kompetanse for «Sea Survival» skal vedlikeholdes iht. retningslinje i GWO standarden. Det skal gjennomføres repetisjonskurs hvert 2. år.

Kurset er i henhold til NS-EN- 1591-4. Kurset øker kompetansen og gir grunnleggende kunnskaper innen forberedelse, planlegging, utførelse og dokumentering av arbeid med boltetrekking av flensforbindelser på trykksatte systemer.

Førstehjelp

Hensikt: Hensikten med opplæringen er å gi brukere av arbeidsutstyr nevnt i § 10-1 og 10-3  i «Forskrift om utførelse av arbeid» (nr. 1357), en god generell grunnopplæring i sikker bruk av arbeidsutstyret, slik at uhell og ulykker i forbindelse med bruken unngås.

Myndighetene stiller krav til grunnleggende sikkerhetssertifisering av personer som skal føre truck, masseforflytningsmaskiner og kraner. Kravene omfatter både teoretisk og praktisk opplæring. For å fullføre fellesteorien må man avlegge og bestå en teoretisk eksamen.

Modul 1.1 Arbeidsmiljø, ansvar og konsekvenser er felles for maskin, truck og kran. Modul 1.1 har en gyldighet på 3 år i sertifisert modulbasert opplæring.

Dette kurset er utviklet for personell som jobber med design, prosjektering, planlegging, installasjon og/eller vedlikehold av elektriske anlegg offshore, formålet er å sikre et høyt nivå av sikkerhet på installasjoner og utstyr offshore. 

Slik at en har lavest mulig risiko for å skade mennesker og utstyr, samt ha høyest mulig driftssikkerhet.

Hensikt: Lavest mulig risiko for å skade mennesker og utstyr, samt ha høyest mulig driftssikkerhet.

Innhold:

- Enkel oversikt og forklaring på komiteer/regelverk/standarder og hvordan de henger i sammen. 

- Presentasjon over forskrifter og normer, PTIL 5 HMS, Nek 410 (IEC 60092), Nek 420 (IEC 60079), ATEX direktivene med standarder, Norsok serien. 

- Historikk og oppbygging i IEC 61892 serien, virkeområder og funksjon. 

- Gjennom et tenkt/illustrert elektrisk anlegg med fokus på det praktiske, vil vi gå igjennom hoved elementene i:

Hensikt: Målsetningen med opplæringen er at den som gis opplæring får mulighet til å tilegne seg teoretiske og praktiske kunnskaper om fallsikring og riktig bruk av redningsmidler, redning av fritt hengende person, redning av personell over åpen sjø, tank, båretransport, nedfiring samt behandling av personell etter fallulykke.

Opplæringen er tilrettelagt for personell som inngår i fallsikring/redningslag om bord på en installasjon, men også for personell som ønsker en grunnleggende forståelse av en redningsoperasjon, evakueringsutstyr etter en fallulykke ved bruk av fallsikrings/redningsutstyr.

Kurset går over 3 dager (24 timer)

Norske myndigheter stiller krav til at arbeidstakere som bruker lift (personløfter) kan dokumentere praktisk og teoretisk opplæring i bruken av disse. Arbeidsgiver er ansvarlig for at arbeidstakene har den nødvendige opplæring. («Forskrift om utførelse av arbeid» nr. 1357, § 10-2 Krav om dokumentert sikkerhetsopplæring ved bruk av arbeidsutstyr.) Kurset gir en grunnleggende teoretisk og praktisk innføring i sikker bruk av lift (personløfter). Kompetansebevis blir utstedt til deltakerne for å oppfylle lovens krav til dokumentasjon.

Opplæringen gir også kunnskap om farer forbundet med løfteoperasjoner samt bruk av risikokartlegging.

Kurset gir deltakere kunnskap til å kunne utøve overordnet operasjonell ledelse av løfteoperasjoner. Med det menes å kunne planlegge, risikokartlegge og evaluere, samt forebygge ulykker. Videre vil deltaker også tilegne seg kunnskaper om å gjøre rede for materialhåndteringsplan, oppbevaring og bruk av utstyr.

Målsetting med opplæring er at den som gis opplæring tilegner seg tilstrekkelig kunnskap om metoder for å lede og veilede løfteoperasjoner slik at de blir forskriftmessig utført.

An important aspect of our operation is rooted in courses and training in flange work and bolted connections. We have been involved in the development of courses since OLF started their Gasslekkasjeprosjekt (Gas-leakage project) in 2003, up until the updated requirements per NS-EN 1591-4 as of today.

Content:

The industries requirements in regards to training has provided improvements in the form of decrease in amounts of leakages both offshore and onshore. The executive operator gains better understanding and enhanced competence which further results in a safer work environment.

The fundamental course in flange work spans over 4 days, covering both theoretical- and practical training. Examination on both the theoretical and practical work will be conducted. Upon successful completion of the exams, a course certificate will be awarded. This certificate is valid for 5 years. To extend the validation of the certificate, a one-day refresher course must be completed before the expiration date of the certificate (within 5 years).
The refresher course prolongs the validity of the certificate for another 5 years upon completion.

The primary goal of the course is to provide necessary and required training which enables the individual to conduct independent work on flanges and bolted connections.

The course offers the attendees fundamental knowledge, inter alia:

-          Flanges

-          Bolts and lubrication

-          Gaskets

-          Work Procedures

-          Understanding and safe use of hydraulic tools, torque wrench and equipment

Kurset gir kursdeltakerne kunnskap om ARL's funksjon og rolle, effektiv kommunikasjon, innholdet i situasjonsrapporter og observasjonsteknikker. Deltakerne lærer også hvordan man slokker mindre branntilløp, samt å utføre livreddende førstehjelp.

EXAM OBJECTIVES

This exam tests the skills and competence of a DPO against the requirements given in the competence standard DNV-GL Notation AJ/FT-AT.

The exam is a thorough test, covering the most important competences for a DPO, in compliance with relevant DNVGL competence standards. The test measures how well operation of equipment, duties and tasks are performed, all in compliance with relevant international, national and local regulations and requirements.

LEARNING PROCESS

The purpose of this course is to give operators and others involved in lifting operations the basic knowledge, understanding and skills.

This is achieved through an in-depth period of training on a full-scale DNV GL Class A crane simulator, supported by a program of lectures and instruction.

Study will cover dierent types of loads and external forces affecting the load on crane and boat.
