Target group:

Personnel working in or supporting offshore decommissioning, including project, engineering, wells, subsea, structural, lifting, marine, operations, safety and procurement teams. The course is also relevant to contractors, equipment suppliers and other personnel involved in selecting, planning or using specialised decommissioning tools.

Description:

This course introduces common specialised tool types used to support
offshore decommissioning activities. Learners will explore the equipment
used for well plug and abandonment (P&A), topsides removal,
substructure removal, and subsea infrastructure removal, including
cutting, lifting, recovery, and excavation tools. The course also examines
how selecting the right tool types can improve safety, reduce project risk
and cost, minimise red-zone exposure, and increase confidence in the
successful execution of decommissioning projects.
