Using the Heather and Thistle projects as a real-world case study, this course follows the decommissioning journey from cessation of production and early planning through well plug and abandonment, engineering down and clean, infrastructure removal, site remediation and post-decommissioning monitoring phases.

This video-based course draws on knowledge shared by experienced decommissioning practitioners and uses recent project examples to provide learners build awareness of the key activities, safety and environmental considerations, and lessons learned that support effective decommissioning project delivery.
