Target group:

Personnel working in or supporting offshore decommissioning, including operations, maintenance, engineering, project, marine, logistics, safety, assurance and regulatory teams. The course is also relevant to contractors and other personnel involved in installation handover, final readiness activities or the transfer of responsibility following final disembarkation.

Description:

This course introduces the key planning, assurance and handover activities required ahead of the final disembarkation of personnel from an offshore installation. Through this video-based course, learners will build awareness of the regulatory, operational and verification considerations that support a safe and controlled departure, including final readiness checks, handover documentation and the transfer of responsibility as the installation progresses into the next stage of decommissioning.
The course is led by a subject matter expert who shares practical knowledge and lessons gained from involvement in seven final disembarkation projects in the UK offshore sector.
