Kurset gir kursdeltakerne kunnskap om ARL's funksjon og rolle, effektiv kommunikasjon, innholdet i situasjonsrapporter og observasjonsteknikker. Deltakerne lærer også hvordan man slokker mindre branntilløp, samt å utføre livreddende førstehjelp.

Kurset er i hovedsak basert på praktiske øvelser i slukking av brann, bruk av utstyr, slukkemetoder og førstehjelp.

Kursinnhold

Brann:
- Funksjon og rolle

Førstehjelp:
- Sirkulasjon / blødninger

- Hode-, nakke- og ryggskader 
- Transport av skadde 
- Førstehjelp, nye momenter

Etter endt undervisning skal kursdeltakerne:
- Kjenne til ARL's funksjon og rolle
- Kunne etablere effektiv kommunikasjon 
- Kjenne til innholdet i en situasjonsrapport 
- Effektivt kunne slokke et mindre branntilløp med en håndslokkemateriell 
- Kjenne til observasjonsteknikker 
- Kunne utføre livreddende førstehjelp

Standard NS-EN 1591-4 sets requirements for maintenance of competence. If there has been a stay with work on flanged connections for six months or more, a new refresher course must be completed in order to continue to have valid approval. We offer a separate course for those who do not get enough practice (within 6 months) to maintain the approval. The aim is to provide the participant with sufficient theory and practice to continue to be able to perform flange work in accordance with current requirements. The course includes: Flanges, Clamps, Bolts and lubrication, Gaskets, Working procedures, Understanding safe use of tools and equipment, Associated documents

After completing the course, the students should be able to take part in their own organisation’s emergency management and be familiar with emergency preparedness in the petroleum industry.

Course Content

Lectures and simulation/practical exercises and drills within:

- Emergency preparedness organisation

- Efficient management of an emergency situation

- Cooperation – roles and responsibilities

- Mental reactions and stress management

- Emergency room conduct – practical training

This course is valid for 24 months.

Dette kurset vil gi fremtidige kranførere en god teoretisk grunnopplæring i sikker bruk av offshorekran. Opplæringen gir kandidatene god innsikt i prinsippene for offshorekraners konstruksjon, virkemåte, vedlikehold og bruk slik at uhell og ulykker i forbindelse med løfteoperasjoner unngås. Opplæringen dekker den teoretiske sikkerhetsopplæringen som kreves for G5 offshorekran, samt G20 fastmontert hydraulisk kran. Kurset avsluttes med en skriftlig teoretisk prøve. Når opplært person har bestått teoretisk prøve, samt eksamen for anhukere med tillegg av praktisk kjøreprøve på offshorekran, vil dette være grunnlag for utstedelse av kompetansebevis for fører av G5 offshorekran.

Kurset vil gi kranoperatører en god teoretisk grunnopplæring på bro og traverskraner slik at uhell og ulykker i forbindelse med løfteoparsjoner unngås. Opplæringen gir kandidatene god innsikt i prinsippene for traverskraners konstruksjon,virkemåte, vedlikehold og bruk. Ved bestått teoretisk og praktisk prøve, vil det gi grunnlag for utstedelse av kompetansebevis G4 Bro-og traverskraner.

Basic first aid for the wind industry.

Upon completion of the Global Wind Organization (GWO) Basic Safety Training (BST), delegates will have awareness of the dangers that arise when working in the wind industry and how to control and reduce these dangers.

The course covers the requirements for training of personnel and refresher courses both onshore and offshore wind in accordance with:

- Global Wind Organization (GWO)

 - Labor Inspection (Regulations)

Competence for "First Aid" must be maintained in accordance with. guideline in the GWO standard. It shall be conducted refresher training every 2 years.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

The objective of this course is to give the trainee DPOs as much hands-on experience as possible in the time available. This is achieved by running the candidates through intensive simulator training whilst being exposed to environmental and technical worst case scenarios. This will increase the candidate’s operational skills and knowledge in DP Operations.

CONTENT

• All the exercises are carried out on a full scale ship simulator
• DP operations planning and watch keeping procedures
• Handling of position reference systems
• Handling of various propulsion systems
• Repetition of various theoretical topics from the DPO
• Preparation and DPO Start courses upon request from course participants

Candidates for the DPO Experience volume training course must have completed the DPO Preparation and the DPO Start courses, or be able to document equivalent competence.

• Study of DP incidents
• Construction and use of work site diagrams, charts and vessel templates for use in DP operations

• Risk and safety analysis, and defining DP equipment classes
• The DP system’s utilization of position measurements, and tests on position reference systems

LEARNING PROCESS

The training will be a combination of theoretical lessons and practical exercises. The participants will work with practical scenarios based on real operations, training on planning and executing specified operations under varying simulated conditions, including emergency handling

SPECIAL INFORMATION

The DP Simulator course is phase C of the Nautical Institute (NI) DP Operator Certification Scheme.

The course will be entered into the NI Dynamic  Positioning Operator’s Log Book.

CERTIFICATE

A certificate acceditated by the Nautical Institute will be issued on succcessful completion of the course.
