This course is designed to raise the awareness of GDPR (2018) throughout the workforce.

We will familiarise staff with the rights of individuals and the obligations of companies.

Learn which territorial areas are affected, and understand the consequences of the improper sharing of personal data, and how to deal with a data breach, should it occur.

The course content is developed in cooperation with Advokatfirmaet Schjødt AS.

How will this course benefit me?

The Code of Conduct course provides an overview of the common values that govern responsible corporate practice and personal behaviour in a company. The course will identify the responsibilities of employees and our common responsibilities toward each other in the workplace. You will learn about applicable laws on human rights, equality, discrimination and corruption. During the course, you will be asked to make your own decisions in relevant dilemmas involving sexual harassment, bullying, discrimination and corruption.

The course also identifies the human rights that are at risk of infringement in the work environment, and you will be aware of the global presence of modern-day slavery. During the course, you will be asked to make your own decisions in relevant dilemmas involving environmental criminality, corruption and breaches of labour rights.

This course aims to provide all relevant personnel with the knowledge required to understand the hazards and controls associated with the use of abrasive wheels.

Learning Objectives

- Explain what is meant by the term ‘Abrasive Wheel’

- Describe typical regulatory requirements for abrasive wheels

- Give examples of different types of abrasive wheels

- Explain how abrasive wheels operate

- Explain the importance of using guards during grinding operations

- Explain the requirements for portable and hand-held grinding machines

- Explain the main hazards of grinding operations

- Give examples of common problems faced when using abrasive wheels

- Explain what the PPE requirements are during grinding operations

- Identify the safety measures that must be in place during grinding operations

The main idea behind the course is that knowledge about and reflection on what to do makes us feel more confident and able to make informed choices.  In a public area or at work, are you aware of what the premises look like, and how you can evacuate if a situation should occur? In order of priority you should act in this way; Run, Hide, Fight!

The course describes these guidelines in more details and also allows the user to reflect upon various aspects of an armed attack.
