Dette kurset er laget for å gjøre hele arbeidsstyrken oppmerksom på den nye personvernforordningen (GDPR –  2018).  Vi vil gjøre personalet kjent med enkeltindividers rettigheter og virksomheters forpliktelser.

Lær hva som er de geografiske områdene, og forstå konsekvensene av uønsket deling av personopplysninger. Lær hvordan sikkerhetsbrudd skal  håndteres, dersom de skulle oppstå. Kursinnholdet er utviklet i samarbeid med Advokatfirmaet Schjødt AS.

Who is the course for?

This eLearning course is aimed at individuals who work offshore, in any role, anywhere in the world.

Is previous experience required?

The course is designed for existing workers in the oil and gas industry. Completion of this course awards an IMIST certificate valid for four years, after which you will need to sit the course again to refresh your knowledge and earn a new certificate.

How will the course benefit me?

The offshore working environment is home to many hazards, which means that it is vital for everyone who goes offshore to have the same baseline level of safety knowledge. This course has been created with OPITO to set a global safety standard by applying a consistent level of safety awareness across nine safety critical areas and is applicable .

The knowledge gained in this course will help you to stay safe in your day-to-day activities offshore. It will also outline some of the systems and procedures in place to manage everyday operations offshore.

How will the course benefit my company?

By ensuring that your safety knowledge is at or above the baseline level, your company can rest assured that you are able to work offshore safety and in compliance with regulations and company procedures. Increased safety knowledge helps to prevent incidents and makes your working environment a safer place.

What standards are referenced in the course?

This course is written based on the OPITO standard International Minimum Industry Safety Training Standard (IMIST) (5312). As a global standard, the course is not written to meet any specific regional legislation but references industry best practices and standard operating procedures throughout.

Is there an assessment?

Once you have completed the course, you will be asked a series of questions to check your knowledge and understanding. These are based on the learning objectives for the course and have a pass mark of 100%. 

The course starts with an optional pre-assessment that checks your existing knowledge of the course topics. The course will restructure so that it only contains the content needed to address the gaps in your knowledge.

Piratvirksomhet og væpnet ran har i økende grad blitt en reell trussel for sjømenn om bord skip og flyttbare enheter. På bakgrunn av dette har det nå kommet krav om sikkerhetsopplæring for alle sjømenn om bord på skip eller flyttbare enheter som er gjeldende fra 1. januar 2014 (ifølge ISPS koden).

Opplæringen i Ship Security Awareness er godkjent av Sjøfartsdirektoratet og skjer i samarbeid mellom Mintra Trainingportal og kunde.

Selve opplæringen består av et e-læringskurs samt fullføring av elementer beskrevet i en sjekkliste som gjøres om bord. Godkjente instruktører hos kunden, skal kvittere for sjekklisten for student.

Når opplæringen er fullført utstedes et sertifikat av Sjøfartsdirektoratet.

E-læringskurset "Brannvern ved utførelse av varme arbeider" har blitt kvalitetskontrollert av Norsk brannvernforening og er utformet for å tilfredsstille kravene satt av forsikringsbransjen. Kurset har som mål å redusere antall branner forårsaket av varmt arbeid og forbedre kunnskapen om brannrisiko under varmt arbeid.

Før vi kan informere Norsk brannvernforening om at du har fullført kurset, må vi innen 3 måneder etter fullført e-læring motta en bekreftelse på at du har mottatt brannslokkingsopplæring i løpet av de siste to årene. Vennligst send bevis på praktisk opplæring til: learningcentre@mintra.com. Mintra krever bevis på praktisk gjennomføring før utstedelse av sertifikat fra Norsk brannvernforening.

Deltakere som består kurset vil få utstedt et sertifikat fra Norsk brannvernforening. Sertifikatet må fornyes hvert 5. år.

Alle sertifikater vil som standard bli sendt i en digital app til et mobiltelefonnummer, ikke lenger som et plastkort. Det digitale sertifikatet er inkludert i kursavgiften. Hvis et plastkort er nødvendig, vil et ekstra gebyr på NOK 450 bli lagt til kursavgiften for å dekke våre kostnader.

Any members of management, supervisor and shipboard management responsible for Ballast Water.

The primary goal of this course are awareness and knowledge of Ballast Water Management in accordance with the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships' Ballast Water and Sediments, referred to as the BWM Convention.

In compliance with IMOs Ballast Water Management Convention (BWMC) 2004 and industry best practice, and complying with US trade and US Coast Guard.

Dette kurset er kombinert trening som består av:
- Et e-læringskurs
- Om bord-trening. Denne treningen består av en rekke øvelser og kan ta et par uker å fullføre. Når alle elementene i sjekklisten er gjennomført, er opplæringen fullført.

Ship Officers

Is previous experience required?

Documented 12 months seaservice as an officer onboard an ISPS vessel. 

How will this course benefit me?

After successfully completing this course, you should be able to undertake the duties and responsibilities of a Ship Security Officer, as defined in section A/12.2 of the ISPS Code and in section A-VI/5 of the STCW Code. The course enables you to maintain and supervise the implementation of the Ship Security Plan, evaluate the security risk, threat and vulnerability, make regular inspections to ensure that appropriate safeguards are implemented and maintained, and ensure that the security systems are operated, tested and calibrated correctly.

How will this course benefit my company?

By ensuring you are qualified and certified as a Ship Security Officer (SSO).

What standards are referred to in this course?

STCW A-VI/5 and ISPS code section A/12.2.

The course is approved by the Norwegian maritime Authority. Approved certificate as Ship Security Officer will be issued upon course completion.

Is there an assessment?

Once you have completed the course, you will be asked a series of questions to check your knowledge and understanding. These are based on the learning objectives for the course and have a pass mark of 70%. 

This course is a combined training consisting of: Elearning and onboard training (exercises and checklists).

To complete the course, it is required that you are employed by a company which has a plan for onboard training with these kind of activities.

The course will not be approved for any persons without a connection to a company as described above.

This course aims to provide learners with industry best practice in relation to the transportation of dangerous goods by sea. The course should enable personnel to recognise the classes of dangerous goods and to pack, mark, label and document articles and items correctly.

Oppgradering fra Norsk Olje og Gass til IMO50 for personell som innehar Grunnleggende sikkerhetskurs for Norsk Olje og Gass (Offshore).

Kurset oppgrader personell med Grunnleggende sikkerhetskurs for Norsk Olje og Gass (Offshore) til STCW Grunnleggende sikkerhetsopplæring for sjøfolk. Kurset inneholder brannvern, røykdykking, brannslokking, sjøredning, grunnleggende førstehjelp og personlig sikkerhet og omsorg for menneskeliv og miljø. Kurset er godkjent etter IMO regelverket og gjelder hele verden.

Minstekrav til kompetanse for redningsfarkoster og mann-overbord-båter unntatt hurtiggående mann-overbord-båter. STCW tabell A-VI/2-1

Innhold:

Lede, sjøsette og betjene båt og utstyr. 

Organisere og lede evakuering fra skip ved hjelp av redningsfarkost. 

Klargjøre livbåten, organisere ombordstigning, låre og frigjøre båten, manøvrere og lede operasjonen av livbåten på vannet. 

Metoder for å starte og betjene motor med tilbehør på redningsfarkost sammen med bruk av farkostens brannslokkingsapparat.   

Metode for helikopterredning.
