Course Goal: This course aims to provide an overview of management of change. The course focuses on the steps of the management of change process, the roles and responsibilities of personnel, and the risks involved in change management and their associated control measures.

Kurset gir kursdeltakerne kunnskap om ARL's funksjon og rolle, effektiv kommunikasjon, innholdet i situasjonsrapporter og observasjonsteknikker. Deltakerne lærer også hvordan man slokker mindre branntilløp, samt å utføre livreddende førstehjelp.

Kurset er i hovedsak basert på praktiske øvelser i slukking av brann, bruk av utstyr, slukkemetoder og førstehjelp.

In the previous lessons, you have learned the four skills of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management to increase your EQ and strengthen your ability to manage yourself and influence others. Boosting your emotional intelligence will leverage your existing skills, IQ, personality, education, and experience even more. This should align with the benefits of increasing your EQ as a leader in terms of how they deal with their people and increase their leadership skills. Consider that you may have the best plan and strategy, but it will not matter unless you communicate this strategy to your team, persuade them to work on it, listen to their inputs, and guide them through the hurdles. You will be able to do this through an exhibition of strong EQ. In this lesson, we will outline some strategies, exercises, and ideas you can use to become an emotionally intelligent leader. You need people skills to execute and succeed in your plan. Developing your EQ will supercharge your leadership arsenal.

Varme arbeider innebærer økt brannrisiko. Brannene skyldes ofte menneskelig svikt, mangel på kunnskap og omtanke. Noen av brannene innebærer også tap av arbeidsplasser og av kulturhistoriske bygninger. De som utfører varme arbeider må forstå hvilken brannrisiko varme arbeider innebærer og utføre arbeidet slik at brann ikke oppstår. Derfor har forsikringsselskapene innført krav om sertifikat for de som skal utføre varme arbeider.

Sertifikat for varme arbeider har en gyldighet på 5 år.

Presentation

This training course provides a general overview of the SOLAS requirements concerning radio communications and the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS).

Objectives

On completion of the training, students will be able to:

Know the requirements concerning radio communication equipment on board ships and offshore units.

Understand the GMDSS functional requirements.

Understand the means required for GMDSS tests and drills on board.

Know the requirements for EPIRB, radio lifesaving appliances and sources of energy for radio communication equipment.

On completion of the training program, the student will be awarded:

A Certificate of SOLAS Safety Radio, issued by Bureau Veritas Solutions Marine & Offshore.

The Certificate of SOLAS Safety Radio is obtained after completion of the course and passing the online test.

Kurset gir deltakerne kompetanse til å:

- Overleve til sjøs i tilfeller der skipet må forlates (tabell VI/1-1)
- Minimalisere risikoen for brann og opprettholde beredskap for å håndtere nødsituasjoner som involverer brann. Bekjempe og slokke branner (tabell VI/1-2)
- Handle omgående ved kjennskap til en ulykke eller annen medisinsk nødsituasjon (tabell VI/1-3).
- Følge nødprosedyrer. Ta forholdsregler for å hindre forurensning av det marine miljøet. Følge trygge arbeidsrutiner. Forstå ordrer og bli forstått i relasjon til plikter om bord på skip. Bidra til gode menneskelige relasjoner om bord på skip (tabell VI/1-4)

Kursinnhold

Kurset inneholder obligatoriske minstekrav til grunnleggende sikkerhetsopplæring for alle sjøfolk i henhold til STCW konvensjonen og består av 4 deler:
- Personlige redningsteknikker (tabell A-VI/1-1)
- Forebyggende brannvern og brannslokking (tabell A-VI/1-2)
- Grunnleggende førstehjelp (tabell A-VI/1-3) 
- Personlig sikkerhet og omsorg for menneskeliv og miljø (tabell A-VI/1-4)

Course Goal: This course is designed to enable all personnel to have a common and consistent approach to both company and industry best practice in relation to managing produced water.

This course contains 7 sections:

Section 3: Produced Water Discharges - Environmental and Regulatory Requirements

This course is taken externally on the Astutis platform, the delegate will receive a separate email from the provider with access details once this is processed by Astutis.

The enrolment will then be marked complete in Trainingportal once the course is passed.
