Business acumen is gaining an understanding of how business works as well as the behaviors business professionals should possess. This important skill is critical not only to corporate leaders, but to aspiring leaders, managers, and employees as well. The organization that prioritizes business acumen as a core competency promotes the growth of its workforce and strengthens its competitive edge.   

Some use the analogy of a quarterback who can “see” the entire field to describe business acumen. It’s simply understanding how your company operates, and then using that knowledge to develop the best business strategy. I henhold til «Forskrift om utførelse av arbeid» nr. 1357, § 17-2, skal arbeidsgiver sørge for at arbeidstakere som skal arbeide med montering, demontering, endring og kontroll av stillaser med øverste stillasgulv over to meter i standardoppstilling får opplæring. Kravet til opplæring gjelder også for rullestillaser over to meter. Kurset gir grunnleggende teoretisk og praktisk opplæring i samsvar med forskriftens krav. Kompetansebevis blir utstedt til deltakerne for å oppfylle lovens krav til dokumentasjon.

Følgende emner blir bl.a. gjennomgått:

– forståelse av planer for montering, demontering eller endringer av det aktuelle stillaset
– sikkerhet ved montering, demontering eller endringer av det aktuelle stillaset
– tiltak for å redusere fallrisikoen for personer og gjenstander
– kontroll av stillas
– sikkerhetstiltak i tilfelle væromslag
– tillatte belastninger
– kontroll av stillas

Objective: The aim of the training is that those who are given training receive a repetition of acquired competence in theoretical and practical understanding of safe work operations / emergency operations with offshore cranes so that accidents and incidents can be avoided.

The training is according to training plan module P-4.1.1 covers repetition requirements in NORSOK R-003.

Validity:

3 years according to NORSOK
2 years according to OPITO

Holders of a G5 certificate must meet the requirements for updating through module P-4.1.1 "Offshore crane simulator" within three years, and then update this every three years. If this update is not carried out the certificate is still valid, but the G5 certificate holder cannot operate a crane until the requirements for the simulator training have been completed.

The object of this course is to help course participants maintain and develop their knowledge, skills and attitudes regarding their role in an emergency response situation.

A representative selection of the content of the basic first aid course adapted to the prior knowledge of the students with major emphasis on practical training and drills.

Course is valid for 12 months (may be taken on board).

Course is valid for 24 months on offshore service vessels.
