Is there an assessment?
Once you have completed the course, you will be asked a series of questions to check your knowledge and understanding. These are based on the learning objectives for the course and have a pass mark of 80%.

Section 7 of the “Safety Regulations for Work and Operation of Electrical Equipment and Installations” (FSE) sets requirements for yearly FSE training for relevant personnel. This e-learning course takes you through the requirements of the regulations and gives you training and instruction in FSE. The course focuses on safety for work on low voltage installations offshore.

The course also provides first-aid instruction and training. CPR training must be completed separately.

In accordance with section 7 of FSE, FSE and and first-aid training must be completed at least once a year. In order to meet the requirement for being able to provide first aid in the event of electrical accidents, you also need to complete yearly practical training in CPR (mouth-to-mouth and heart compressions).

This course addresses a variety of issues and covers how to prevent electrical accidents, routines in the event of accidents, and theoretical first aid, and aims to help prevent harm to people, equipment, and installations.

At the beginning of the course you can take a pre-test, where you get the opportunity to show your skills. If you pass the pre-test, you do not have to go through the entire course.

The course provides knowledge about the structure, operation, applications and usage, maintenance and monitoring of the appropriate tool. The training provides knowledge about the requirements for safe use and operation stipulated in regulations and instructions.

Along with a practical review of the tools, the course meets the requirements for documented training in hazardous work equipment in Regulations concerning the Performance of Work.

This training course aims at providing a general description of the requirements for the prevention of pollution by sewage from ships as defined by the Annex IV of the MARPOL Convention.

Objectives
