Grunnleggende førstehjelp i vindindustrien.

Ved gjennomføring av Global Wind Organization (GWO) Basic Safety Training (BST) vil delegatene ha en bevissthet om farene som oppstår når de arbeider i vind-industrien og hvordan man kontrollerer og reduserer disse farene.

Kursdeltakerne vil få kunnskap og ferdigheter til å yte god livreddende førstehjelp.

Hensikten med kurset er å gi deltakerne kunnskap om skader som typisk kan oppstå ved arbeid i- og på vindmøller, og hvordan gi god førstehjelp om en slik hendelse skulle oppstå.

Kurset dekker krav til opplæring av personell og repetisjonskurs både land- og havvind iht:

- Global Wind Organization (GWO)

- Arbeidstilsynet (Forskrifter)

Kompetanse for «First Aid» skal vedlikeholdes iht. retningslinje i GWO standarden. Det skal gjennomføres repetisjonskurs hvert 2. år.

Grunnleggende brannforebygging i vindindustrien.

Ved gjennomføring av Global Wind Organization (GWO) Basic Safety Training (BST) vil delegatene ha en bevissthet om farene som oppstår når de arbeider i vind-industrien og hvordan man kontrollerer og reduserer disse farene.

Kursdeltakerne vil få kunnskap og ferdigheter til å forebygge eventuelt slukke brann i vindturbiner og generelt.

Hensikten med kurset er å gi deltakerne kunnskaper om brann og brannforebygging samt ferdigheter i bruk av brannsløkkingsutstyr ved arbeid i- og på vindmøller.

• Advise on the main duties for health and safety in the workplace and help their organisation manage contractors

• Work within a health and safety management system, recognising what effective policy, organisational responsibilities and arrangements should look like

• Positively influence health and safety culture and behaviour to improve performance in their organisation

• Do a general risk assessment in their own workplace – profiling and prioritising risks, inspecting the workplace, recognising a range of common hazards, evaluating risks (taking account of current controls), recommending further control measures, planning actions

• Recognise workplace changes that have significant health and safety impacts and effective ways to minimise those impacts

• Develop basic safe systems of work (including taking account of typical emergencies) and knowing when to use permit-to-work systems for special risks

• Take part in incident investigations

• Help their employer to check their management system effectiveness – through monitoring, audits and reviews
