The e-learning course, “Fire Prevention during Hot Work”, has been quality controlled by the Norwegian Fire Prevention Association and designed is to satisfy the requirements set by the insurance industry.

The course aims to reduce the number of fires caused by hot work and improve knowledge about the risk of fire during hot work.

 

Please Note! 

Before we can inform the Norwegian Fire Prevention Association that you have completed the course, we must receive within 3 months of completing the e-learning a confirmation that you have received fire extinguishing training during the last two years. Please send the proof of the practical training to: learningcentre@mintra.com.

Mintra requires proof of practical completion prior to issuing the Norwegian Fire Protection Association certificate.


Participants who pass the course will be issued a certificate from the Norwegian Fire Prevention Association. The certificate must be renewed every 5 years.

 

All certificates will by default be sent in a digital app to a mobile phone number, no longer a plastic card. The digital certificate is included in the course fee.
If a plastic card is required, an extra fee at NOK 450 will be added to the course fee to cover our cost.

 

You will be required to confirm your identity online before starting this course. In Trainingportal, we have implemented a fully automated process to make this a quick and painless experience.

The course gives an overview of definitions, roles and responsibilities, the rights of individuals and the obligations of businesses with respect to the regulation.

We examine the territorial scope and outline the general requirements, technical solutions and administrative routines required for GDPR compliance, whilst also examining how to handle the issues sourrounding a data breach, should it occur.

The course content is developed in cooperation with Advokatfirmaet Schjødt AS.
