The aim of NEK 400 Landbruk is primarily to contribute to increased fire safety greenhouses and agricultural buildings.
Annually recorded around 300 major fires in agriculture, and it is estimated that values close to half a billion NOK is lost in these fires. In addition, the many animals who are subjected to unnecessary suffering and lost.
Surveys conducted by the Agricultural Fire committee show that two out of three fires in agriculture occurs in electrical installations or electrical equipment. This indicates a need for special measures.
The course addresses the additional requirements in NEK 400 Landbruk, background for them and how they are used.

- Life Cycle Cost
- Plants that can withstand operating conditions
- Reduction of damages and insurance payments
