Dette er et kurs innen elektriske installasjoner i eksplosjonsfarlige områder. Målet med kurset er at de som skal arbeide i eksplosjonsfarlige områder, kan utføre arbeidet på en sikker og god måte.

Kurset dekker de kravene som stilles til personell som arbeider i eksplosjonsfarlige områder. Teorien er hentet fra CENELEC og IEC sine normer.

Ved hjelp av tekst, bilder, video, animasjoner og 3D blir man bedre kjent med eksplosjonsfarlige områder og deres særtrekk.

KURSBESKRIVELSE

I en risikovurdering kartlegges hendelser som kan inntre og hva disse hendelsene kan føre til. I dette kurset har vi fokus på uønskede hendelser. Dette kan for eksempel være gasslekkasje eller en brannpå en oljeplattform,  at utstyr slutter å virke under en operasjon på et sykehus eller at det skjer en ulykke i  gjennomføringen av en arbeidsoppgave.Risikoanalyseprosessen består av tre faser: 

1) Planlegging

2) Risikovurdering

3) Risikohåndtering

Dette kurset viser hvordan disse fasene kan planlegges og gjennomføres i praksis. Det finnes mange veiledninger og standarder for hvordan en risikovurdering kan gjennomføres, og mange er tilpasset spesifikke bransjer og fagområder. Dettekurset presenterer en generell tilnærming som kan anvendes i de fleste bransjer.

Hva er risiko? Hva er hensikten med en risikovurdering?

•Risikovurdering og risikostyring:

Beskrivelse av trinnene i en risikovurdering, hva som er viktig å passe på ved de ulike trinnene, samt hvordan risik ovurderingen kan brukes i risikostyring. 

•Risikoanalysemetoder:

Det finnes en rekke ulike risikoanalysemetoder som er egnet til å se på ulike problemstillinger.Det gis en introduksjon til noen av disse; Hazid/grovanalyse, SJA, HAZOP, FMEA og QRA. Kunsten er å velge en metode som er godt tilpasset problemstillingen du ser på.

The aim of this training programme is to impart the initial training to enable trainee competence assessors, now referred to as learners, to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills which underpin the tasks to be performed as a Competence Assessor.

The objectives of this training are that learners will be able to:

(a) Understand the principals and corresponding roles and responsibilities involved in competence assessment

(b) Plan and carry out an assessment

(c) Monitor and verify assessment records

(d) Objectively review and assess different types of evidence

(e) Understand the importance of robust record keeping

(f) Deliver assessment feedback

The OPITO Competence Assessor Award delivered through Blended Learning requires the following:

Stage 1 - Online registration 1 hour to complete

Stage 2- E-learning modules Self-study 5/6 hours recommended

Stage 3- Live instructor webinar and online test 1 full day (sessions run twice weekly)

Stage 4- Upon successful completion of the training, and with evidence that the skills and knowledge have been successfully applied in the workplace, the learner would be eligible to conduct workplace assessments, providing they themselves are technically competent in the discipline being assessed. Following this training, it will be the responsibility of the employing organisation to allow each assessor to gain further experience.
