Safety Instrumented Systems

Course Goal: This course aims to provide an overview of functional safety and an introduction to Safety Instrumented Systems.

Who is the course for?

This course is for any personnel (e.g. Control and Instrumentation Engineers, Mechanical Engineers or Electrical Engineers) with responsibility for carrying out SIL determination exercises or the specification, design, operation and maintenance of assets that employ Safety Instrumented Systems.

Is previous experience required?

No previous experience is required to complete this course.
