This course is based on the requirements of SOLAS 1974, Regulation II-1/3-13, as amended (Resolution MSC.532(107)); the IMO Guidelines for Lifting Appliances (MSC.1/Circ.1663); the ISM Code; ILO Convention No. 152; and ISO 4309:2017, together with industry guidance from RightShip RISQ 3.1 – Section 9A (Lifting Appliances) and Section 9B (Gantry Cranes), covering inspection, testing, maintenance, certification, and record-keeping for vessel lifting equipment.
