Course Goal:

This course aims to provide US personnel with an overview of their right to access exposure and medical records held by their employer in accordance with the OSHA Standard - Access to Employee Exposure and Medical Records 29 CFR 1910.1020.

 

Learning Objectives:

LO1 Give a brief overview of OSHA’s Access to Employee Exposure and Medical Records Standard

LO2 Identify who has the right to access employee exposure and medical records

LO3 Give an overview of the responsibilities of your employer in relation to the Standard

LO4 Describe what is meant by the term ‘access’

LO5 Give an overview of the types of exposure and medical records which may be accessed by employees

LO6 Describe the record-keeping requirements of the Standard
