Who is this course for?

This course is mandatory for all Non-Swedish Officers, both Engine and Deck serving onboard Swedish flagged ships.

Is previous experience required?

No previous experience is required to complete this course. However, it is recommended that you purchase the following books:

• Swedish Maritime Law, and

• Swedish Maritime Code

How will this course benefit me?

This course is mandatory and is intended to provide basic knowledge and understanding of the Swedish Maritime Rules and Regulations for all Non-Swedish Officers, both Engine and Deck, serving onboard Swedish flagged-vessels.

Is there an assessment?

Yes - There is a formative assessment after each section, followed by a proctored summative assessment.
