Dangerous Goods by air transport is conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), and is based the use and understanding of various legislation to include: - The United Nations Orange Book, The International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), International Air Transport Association (IATA) and in the United Kingdom, the Air Navigation Dangerous Goods RegulationsDescription:
To provide in depth training to both Material Controllers and Helideck Landing Officers, working within the oil and gas industry. The course may also be tailored around non oil and gas sectors. The course is a 3 day programme of intense training on the use and understanding of the IATA Regulations, which will conclude with an exam set in accordance with CAA requirements/standards. The course is designed for both first time students and those requiring their 2 yearly refresher training (CAA mandatorily requirement)., Day 1:Course registration / introduction
