CAA Aeronautical VHF Certification
UK Civil Aviation Authority will validate all successful delegates with an Offshore Radio Operators Certificate of Competence on completion of both the Theoretical and Oral examinations.

Target group:
This qualification is mandatory for individuals using an aeronautical frequency for the purpose of communication with aircraft.Description:
To provide personnel who have the responsibility of communicating with aircraft offshore with relevant information and correct phraseology and technical information to communicate effectively and in a safe and controlled manner. , Correct speech techniques

Aircraft call signs
Readability of transmissions
Reporting of helideck movement
Correct terminology
Aircraft distress and urgency response procedures
Candidates will be provided with a copy of Cap 452 Aeronautical Radio Station Operators Guide on enrolment.
Delegates will be competent in operating Offshore Radios during communication with aircrafts offshore incorporating the correct phraseology and technical information in a safe and controlled manner.
