This course is aimed at individuals who are responsible for the ongoing monitoring of hot work sites.

Is previous experience required? 

You do not need prior knowledge or experience to complete this course. It is assumed that you are competent in your designated role.

All personnel involved with helicopter operations, particularly in the offshore sector.

Transporting dangerous goods by air has the potential to cause significant harm to people, property and the environment. By following the Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), you will significantly decrease the risks and be able to transport such goods safely. 

How will this course benefit my company?

All personnel are required to undertake competence-based DGR training relevant to their function. This course provides introductory-level awareness in the IATA training framework for personnel involved with helicopter operations.

3 Sections; Each section has an assessment with an 80% pass mark and 2 attempts.

Many substances can cause harm to health if the appropriate precautions are not taken, including some substances that are not hazardous in themselves. This course will give you a basic overview of the COSHH regulations and how they help to protect workers.
