Este curso está diseñado para brindarle al personal costa afuera un conocimiento general sobre los peligros y medidas de control que se relacionan con las áreas de trabajo de la instalación en las que puede estar presente el H2S.

• Comprender mejor los peligros que se relacionan con el H2S y las medidas necesarias de detección y protección que deben tenerse y cumplirse

• Identificar los niveles y límites de exposición laboral legales que se han establecido para su protección.

• Explicar las responsabilidades de los empleadores en lo que respecta a la gestión de riesgos asociados a la posible exposición al H2S en el lugar de trabajo.

• Explicar las tareas de los empleados respecto de cumplir con los procedimientos pertinentes sobre H2S y seguir las pautas que proporcionan los empleadores o propietarios de las instalaciones.

Personnel who require knowledge or awareness of dangerous goods within HEMS operations.

How will the course benefit me?

This course is part of the required trainings for HEMS operating crew, and covers classification of dangerous goods, how dangerous goods is divided into hazard classes, how it should be marked and labelled and what emergency procedures should contain.

This course must be repeated every 24 months.

Course goal: This course aims to introduce, develop and increase learners’ knowledge and awareness of the importance of Risk Assessment and how it can reduce the likelihood of accidents in the workplace.
