The main focus of the course is to create a fundamental understanding of what everyone working with projects should know about project management. Content: The e-learning course is divided into ten modules and has a case you will be working with throughout the course. The e-learning introduces you to what characterizes a project and project management, before focusing on project methods and project phases. It is ensured that the most important activities in a project are done first and to make sure the project gets the right initiation. Project management disciplines like planning, follow-up and control of the project are dealt with, before leadership and organization of the project is addressed. In the very end of the course you will get a basic introduction to the most important elements of how to understand and manage risk in a project.

Som byggherre har selskaper det overordnede ansvaret for implementering av forskriftens krav i prosjektene fra start til slutt. Dette er et sentralt kurs for alle som har en sentral rolle i forhold til Sikkerhet, Helse og Arbeidsmiljø.
HME is increasingly in focus, emphasized by the government and relevant supervisory authorities, as well as the industry and employers. However, it is challenging to transfer the statutory and contractual safety requirements into practical work in the projects. HSE affect both the economy and progress in the projects. For this reason it is important that the project management team, as the top safety manager in the project, has the both the HSE competence and the ability to use it in relevant situations. It is vital that this expertise is employed whenever project decisions for health, safety or security are concerned. This course provides participants with insight into how the HSE can be controlled in the projects, as well as providing ample anchoring points to the project model.
The course is designed for you who are involved in the early phase of a project. All projects can be divided into three phases: the definition phase, planning and implementation phase. Definition phase for establishing the basis for the project and should not be rushed. The further out in the project you get, the more expensive it becomes to make changes.
In this course, the main focus is on what we usually call risk-based HSE management, but the course also throws light on principles and methods which can be used generally for risk management in business.
