Mintra has entered a strategic agreement with Spring Energy Norway AS. Spring Energy will be using Mintra’s Learning Management System – Trainingportal – to maintain an overview of competency requirements associated with all of the different positions and roles in the company.  Using Trainingportal, Spring Energy hopes to streamline and increase the quality of their work by mapping and verifying competence.

“We consider this a good, forward-looking solution for a company like ours,” says HSE&Q Manager, John Magne Birkeland, of Spring Energy Norway AS.

He emphasises that the company will also be using Trainingportal to maintain an overview of competency requirements for sub-suppliers and contractors.

“Yes, we will be using it both for our existing deliveries and all future deliveries,” says Birkeland.

Spring Energy is a recently established oil company, located in Oslo.  The plan is to be approved as an operator during the course of 2009.
