Refresher Course for Riggers

All rigging operations shall be performed according to applicable safety regulations. These specifications are stipulated in the NORSOK R-003 standard and in the Regulations for using work equipment. Only personnel who have documented rigger training may perform rigging operations. This course provides a basic review and update of knowledge of rigging operations in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.

Course Code:	MTP-010
Objective:	To contribute to increased safety for personnel, the environment, and material assets in conjunction with rigging operations.
Target Group:	All categories of crane operators who have completed a basic rigging course.
Duration:	Approx. 1 hour
Prerequisites:	Completed modules 0-1.1 and 0-2.2 in the basic safety course. In addition, practical experience with rigging operations is required.
Final Assessment:	Web-based final test
Language:	Norwegian/English
