I 2003 innførte Utlendingsdirektoratet (UDI) saksbehandlingssystemet ”Databehandling for Utlendingsforvaltningen” (DUF).

In recent years, there has been an increase in focus on, and requirements for, workplace risk assessments. …LEL means?
…PPM means?

…the administrative norm is?
…requirements must be met before a tank may be entered?
…conditions must be met to have a gas-free atmosphere?

PGS says that it is continuing to put great effort into hiring talented and skilled staff; both new graduates and experienced professionals. The company also says that, of equal importance to attracting the right talent, is making sure its new recruits settle in and perform to their best as quickly as possible. PGS recognizes that sufficient training will give new employees a good start, and help them settle into their new role, but extensive training is also important in order to give new employees a personal feeling of being competent and comfortable with the work they are doing. PGS considers this to be both a performance and safety issue.

The chemical regulation act stipulates that all companies must perform chemical risk assessments of all chemicals prior to their use. The Norwegian labour inspectorate estimates that currently only 25% of companies carryout these required risk assessments within the chemical working environment. Furthermore, only one in three employees within these companies have been taught how to protect themselves from chemical exposure. This situation can partly be explained by the fact that many companies lack both occupational hygienists and occupational hygiene competence not only within the companies themselves but also within the external occupational health services used. ChemiRisk, a web based chemical risk assessment tool has been developed to combat this lack of competence. It’s design ensures that chemical risk assessments can now be performed by personnel with a broader HSE competence.
