Success with innovation, requires a successful project to bring the good idea through to a successful launch. Many good ideas unfortunately never are commercialised due to bad project organisation. Open innovation can increase the probability of success.
The breakfast seminar will focus on open innovation and provide answer for:
How to avoid that smart ideas are put in a drawer?
How can your organization utilize and benefit from open innovation?
How can you project idea become a commercial success?
Which business models support innovation?
How goes a global brand leader use open innovation?
In an open innovation model the organization will try to commercialize both their own and others' ideas and bring them to market both themselves and by others.

The Speakers:
James Joia, Associate Director External Business Development, Procter & Gamble. James joined Proctor &Gamble in 1991. James has led global organizations and has been instrumental in the integration of the Purchases work relating to P&Gs acquisitions of the Clairol and Wella businesses. He joined the External Business Development (EBD) group in 2008 and is part of the European organization focused on driving Open Innovation (Connect + Develop). He is tasked to develop external partner relationships that help drive profitable and sustainable growth in broad areas of innovation - both technical and commercial.
Nils C. Ihlen, PMP, IPMA B, Senior Advisor responsible for education in Holte Consulting. Nils has over 17 years experience from project management, analysis of projects and lecturing in project management. He also is an Advisor in project development and portfolio managment. Nils is just returned from 6 months studies in Berkeley, USA where he continued his professional development in Management of Technology as part of a two years masters programme (MTM). Nils is an experienced lecturer and speaker.

The Breakfast Seminar is free of charge. Due to the high demand to participate, those that register but do not turn up will be invoiced NOK 300. However, notification of non participation up to one day before the Breakfast Seminar will not incur any costs.
Participation at the Breakfast Seminar will give 2 PDU’s (Professional Development Units). PMP certified Project Managers will increase their competence and retain their title. This is achieved by attaining 60 PDU’s in a three year period.
